  • What is a BTC (Booking Tracking Code)

    It is a unique number created for each booking that tracks it from the initial search to the issuance of the ticket or voucher. In an IATA One Order environment, where the PNR is replaced by a single "Order," the BTC becomes the critical identifier for agencies to track every booking, ensuring transparency and operational efficiency.

  • What is the "Track Price" feature?

    This feature allows an operator to instruct the system to continuously monitor the prices of items still in the estimate phase. The system will then actively search for cheaper alternatives to maximize the travel agency's profit and notify the operator. The operator can then perform a "Downgrade" and receive an incentive on the amount saved for the company. This feature leverages the dynamic pricing of NDC to help agencies secure the most profitable deals.

    A Scope represents the API access credentials that a travel agency owns through a commercial agreement with a major supplier, such as Amadeus. An agency can also make a Scope "public," allowing all registered agencies on the Shift platform to use it.   • What is the "Reseller" plan ideal for?

    The Reseller plan is for agencies looking to formalize partnerships and expand their B2B network. It includes authorized access and commercial agreements with other travel agencies, as well as full access to the Shift marketplace. It operates on a hybrid revenue model with a low fixed subscription fee plus transaction-based fees.

  • What is the "Enterprise" plan ideal for?

    This plan is for agencies that need a comprehensive suite of business management and distribution tools. It includes all the benefits of the Reseller plan plus access to Shift Business Apps like Billing, CRM, and basic HR. The revenue model is a higher fixed monthly or annual subscription fee.
